People, I know that she was pregnant and by “FAT” I mean looking larger than the average person, not that’s she’s unhealthy or a lazy slob. See, this is what tabloids and beauty magazines tell us: that the term fat refers to a lazy, ugly, unhealthy, pig. When I just meant that she’s “bigger.” The word fat used because for a normally skinny person, she was way “heavier” (obviously because she was with child.) Though I do admit that Los Angeles has some of the best weather in the world, I also recognize that it does get chilly. No, I’m not talking about 40 degrees (are you kidding??!). I’m talking about 60s and 70s. That’s cold for me. Which is why I love how Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge dress. Boots are stylish, simple, comfortable and most of all warm. It provides a put together look and I love how they both wear their skinny jeans inside. Also layer layer layer, just like how Lauren Conrad has a scarf and cardigan. No, the colors aren’t technically on the same palate, but they are all neutral, so it works.

Also, I love her little purse. Fits pretty much all you need, a phone, wallet and keys. The essentials.

Kristen Cavallari apparently thinks she’s better than John Mayer – and Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, etc etc. The list goes on. She told LA Times that she didn’t date him, after she knew that he was telling them that they did date. Wow, that makes him look really really bad. She’s a bitch for doing that. Who is she to deny John Mayer anyway. I’m not saying he’s the best musician of all time, but at least he’s good at something. Kristen has a good body, I give her that, but what kind of talent does she have anyway? NONE! She’s so-called famous for being a total bitch on Laguna Beach.

All the other women that John Mayer have dated (even Jessica Simpson, who’s a dumb blonde) have way more talent that Kristen Cavallari. There are no truer words than saying that she sucks at life.

Slumdog Millionaire’s Billionarie Actress Freida Pinto

I just saw the movie Slumdog Millionaire last week and now I understand why it was nominated for and won so many Oscars. Did anyone notice that Latika (actress Freida Pinto) was ALWAYS wearing yellow? Yellow not only makes her skin tone stand out but it looks beautiful on her. I must admit that I really loved the costume designing on her. She is a true beauty.

Jennifer Aniston in Marley and Me

I saw Marley and Me in theatres a few week ago after I had finished reading the book and I must say I LOVED Jennifer Aniston’s wardrobe in it. I don’t know whether their stylist just had a good sense of casual chic or maybe it’s that her perfect body makes everything look awesome. Either way, I am envious. Especially in her winter wear outfit below – she dressed so cute. I guess I am just jealous that I can never find jeans to fit me perfectly like the way they do one her… ah petty things.

It’s not fair!!! Jennifer Aniston always looks good in no matter what she wears. It also doesn’t help that she lives in CA where the weather permits you to do so and I live in NY where it’s currently snowing like crazy! ARGH! Who are your favorite best dressed celebs?

Hey Celebs, Recycle those paper cups!

Almost in every picture that you see a celebrity, you see them with a starbucks mug. Now I don’t know – maybe it’s just trendy to have that overpriced mug in their hands, but how about buying a reusable mug from Starbucks so you don’t have to waste paper? Celebs are always talking about saving the planet yet they waste waste waste! Here’s an idea, reuse. Can you imagine all the paper cups that could be saved? I got this Hawaiian Starbucks mug as a gift earlier this year and I’ve literally gotten stopped on the Subway by New Yorkers asking me where they can get it. You can buy it on eBay for $16. It’s well worth the money.

Summer Trends…. UGH is it really a trend?

Please help me decide what trends are actually going to work this summer. I see all kinds of crazy stuff around NYC and some of it I love, most I hate (and I guess this really tells a lot about my fashion sense.) What’s in? What’s out? HELP! Leave me a comment!

1. Lace – Lace tops, lace dresses… lace embellishments. Oh and by the way, does that mean that you can get away without wearing anything underneath?? I certainly would feel weird walking out without something solid under a lace top, but that’s just me.

2. Pastel Colors – I have dark olive skin and to tell you the truth, pastels look horrid on me. I’m not saying they look bad on everyone but is this really a trend? I feel like I’m a 5 year old when I wear pastel colors. Although this yellow color is beautiful. Anyone else feel this way?

3. The color purple – Some people say purple is the new pink. Take it as you will, I still love pink…. things. I’d never wear the color pink because it looks bad on me and I actually like the purple trend. Well, dark purple. Like I said, pastels look bad on me. Yay for plum purple outfits.

4. Gladiator Sandals – UGH I hate these. They look so freakin weird. Maybe they’d look better if they weren’t so freakishly tall. And what kind of tan lines do you get from wearing these!?! Please tell me this trend is going to go away… forever.

Hey Everyone! Do you love looking in magazines or online and creating your own outfit? Or maybe you love a ton of different styles from different sites but want to know what they will look like together. I just found out about this great site called Polyvore. It’s awesome! It’s basically like creating a scrapbook or collage of you’re favorite stuff. You can pick and grab clothing, accessories, perfume, makeup, jewelry… ANYTHING from other sites, add them to your account and put together an outfit. It’s great to see what stuff will look like before you even purchase them. Plus, the site lets you add backgrounds, interact with other people and use clothing and pieces that other people have already imported. Check it out, you’ll love it!

Celebrity Rant. Gimme More.

We all know that Britney’s performance this past Sunday was way below par. I love Britney Spears – it’s just that she sucked at this year’s VMAs. And before I completely get into Britney’s comeback, I’d just like to say, WHY do we care so much about celebrities?! Who gives a $#*% if they do good or bad, and why do we care if they drink Starbucks or crash their car. Millions of people do way cooler things everyday and don’t even get noticed. Hell, Nicole Richie got more publicity for her pregnancy with that Good Charlotte dude than that woman who had sextuplets… or whatever you call it. Celebrities are just overpaid normal people. I’m sick of having them be treated way better than the average Joe….. With that said, I still like Britney Spears.

Musician Style Icon: Butch Walker

Personally, I like a guy with a bit of a grungy look – not too clean cut and someone that definitely doesn’t take longer to get ready or wears more make-up than I do.

I am a huge fan of the amazing Butch Walker not only because his music rocks, but because boy, can he dress. I love the vest look and he pulls it off well. He is one of the only individuals that I think looks good in that kind of hat, and the sleeves… well I love a guy that can pull off sleeves and still look good.

Ripped jeans, belts, jewelry and other accessories are awesome, but make sure you keep them to a minimum to keep you looking hardcore. I will put all my bets on Butch Walker this week. He rocks and so does his wardrobe!

If you didn’t already hear that David Beckham has signed a $250 million dollar 5 – year deal with the L.A. Galaxy, then now you know. Him and his lovely wife Victoria Beckham and family will be moving to the U.S of A later this year. But before he’s even packed his bags and boarded the plane, he is all over magazines as a male style icon.

I think he’s a great dresser so maybe other sports stars will take notice and start dressing up a bit. Not only does he have nice clothes, he kicks ass on the field. That’s already a double threat! So watch out for David Beckham to take the reign as the most badass and fashionable dresser in the sports world!!!

Versace fashion heiress is anorexic!

Allegra Beck Versace who is the 20 year old daughter of Donatella Versace is in serious condition after battling anorexia for the past year.

“Our daughter Allegra has been battling anorexia, a very serious disease, for many years,” Donatella Versace said in an attempt to stop the rumors.

Ms. Beck Versace inherited 50% of the Versace fortune on her 18th birthday from her uncle Gianni Versace.

You’d think with all that money, you could buy yourself some food, just kidding. Well at least a nutritionist and a conscious that recognizes you look like a walking skeleton and that’s not hot. She needs to come back to reality and eat something …. seriously, she’s WAAAAAAAy to skinny!

Yes, I’ll admit, when Lindsay Lohan isn’t dressed like a hobo, showing her crotch in public or looking like a crack addict, she actually cleans up quite well.
