There are so many jeans out there that its so hard to choose from. And most of the time, you end up buying a pair and they stretch out or rip. This is what happened to a pair of $180 jeans I bought last year after 3 months of use!!! Anyway, a friend of mine recently introduced me to Paige Jeans. I’d never heard of Paige Jeans before, but I was amazed at the quality that I saw. Modeled after Paige Adams-Geller, they have a slim fit, but still have room for people with a little bit of curve. I would absolutely love to try a pair of these. Thankfully they just opened a shop in NYC!
After scouring their website, here are my top favorite jeans (Click on the pics for the links):
1. Women’s Blue Heights Skinny – ORBIT. I LOVE this color and the fit. Not quite a black yet not quite the regular bland light gray you always see!
3. Women’s Melrose Straight Leg ROYAL SAPPHIRE: This fit is great because its classic and for petite people like myself, the wide bottoms don’t swallow up your legs. They are very tailored and like the pair above, they are a classic color.
Anyone tried Paige Jeans yet? I’d love to get a review. But judging from what I saw – their quality and fit and pretty reasonable price is a win-win situation!
I’ve written about Lush in the past, regarding their Dream Cream, which I absolutely love. But they do make other great organic handmade bath products. My boyfriend just bought me a bath bomb. These are amazing – they come in a wide array of scents, colors and uses and they are pretty much all meant to soothe, soften and relax your skin and yourself. This is perfect end to a stressful day, or if you live in NYC or somewhere with comparable cold dry weather, these will refresh you skin and overall health.
Meet Yummie Tummie. The tank tops, shirts and long sleeves come in a variety of different colors, but it’s really whats in the middle that will excite you. From the top and bottom they are made or normal tank top material, however the waist is made of a tight fabric that will slim your waist and flatter your curves. Kinda like spanx for your midsection.. and pretty much everyone could use a little help with that. I know I need this because when I wear tops and I see that it’s all lumpy in the waist, I change clothes. They are a bit pricey, but I think well worth the price tag. Anyone else have luck with these???
It’s not fair!!! Jennifer Aniston always looks good in no matter what she wears. It also doesn’t help that she lives in CA where the weather permits you to do so and I live in NY where it’s currently snowing like crazy! ARGH! Who are your favorite best dressed celebs?
Free People is one of my favorite brands… I love their 60’s hippie /boho yet casual and stylish look. Here are a few of my favorite dresses and tunics….
I’ve been resisting the urge to buy more clothing – because my closet is packed and so is my dresser. However, I cannot resist the urge to search the web and web shop without buying. And I found this amazingly comfortable cardigan that’s loungy yet can be dressy on sale for only $20 at Macys! SCORE!
Lately, I’ve been going to the Health Food store across the street from my office every morning to get a fresh made veggie juice. Usually i get carrots, kale, parsley and spinach – often switching out one of the greens if its not available. A regular size juice costs $5.95. Ridiculous, but at the same time, I love it and I need to make sure I get all my veggies for the day. Therefore I am going to invest in a juicer. I’ve done some research and found that the Breville Juice Fountain Plus is a good one – not top of the line, but not a piece of crap. It retails for around $200. I know i can get one that does a multitude of things, but I just want it to juice…. I’ll get a blender later. Any recommendations?
In the last month or so, I have been really making an effort to eat healthier. I’ve been getting fresh veggie juices across the street at the health food store for about $6 bucks a juice. It’s kind of a rip off but they are so delicious that I keep going back. I’m hoping that if I keep up this gluten free, healthy, more veggie diet, my eczema will dramatically disappear. After searching and searching for a juice that won’t break my bank, my coworker turned me onto Bolthouse Farms. Bolthouse Farms is located in my hometown of California – San Joaquin Valley. Started as a commercial farming company, they started to branch out into juices (which they made from their veggies), and many other products like dressings.
I am eager to try these because of all the rave reviews, however, where I live (East Harlem), our grocery stores aren’t that great and don’t carry stuff like this. The health food store does carry them, but I would really love to try the purple carrot juice. Carrot (and green) juice is my favorite, so this seems amazing. Has anyone tried these? What other juices (or other healthy tips) would you recommend?
For this holiday season, especially those living in the cold winter, you can’t go wrong with giving them some socks! And who doesn’t like socks especially when they are brightly colored and designed? Thanks to HAPPY SOCKS, they are giving away 4 pairs of socks of YOUR CHOICE. I got a few pairs of these to test out earlier this month and I absolutely love them… in fact, I kid you not – I am wearing them right now.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment with why you deserve to win them and I will pick a winner by December 20th at 12 midnight. Good luck!
My uncle is a huge chocolate addict and apart from getting him a bunch of gourmet chocolates I thought that something creative and very VERY different was appropriate this holiday. I found BACON CHOCOLATE from Vosges Haut Chocolat and it’s the perfect gift. Not to mention they even have some fancy shmancy gourmet items too. I ordered him the assorted mini exotic candy bars and I think he’ll love it. It’s the perfect gift for about $25.
*I actually bought the chocolate bars, not the cute little bacon chocolate pic, but now I’m wishing I could go back and get this one instead!
I spent my Sunday watching Sunday Night Football and posing for some cute Christmas pictures in our matching JCrew onesie PJs. Also, Andrew and I visited the tree at Rockafellar Center. Gotta love it!
This is by far my favorite Holiday Season! I love giving gifts and I love celebrating with some hot chocolate or apple cider by the fire…. YUM. If you’re like me and are clueless what to get your guy for the holiday season, here are some tips… courtesy of TMI Weekly!
