Next New Networks just launched this awesome show called Metal Chik. It’s a weekly 3 – 5 minute video podcast with the Funky Victoria Tillotson shows us how to make jewelry. Yup, Ladies… summer is coming to a close. Though its such a sad time to not have summer days anymore, I secretly rejoyce at all of the summer dresses that I can now afford because they are on sale. One in particular… this Congo dress from Free People that I’ve tried on about 6 or 7 times this summer, but couldn’t bring myself to shell out $108 bucks for such thin material. I guess I’m in luck today because it’s not on sale for a mere $50 bucks! Now that’s what I call a bargain!
Ok ok.. maybe not fat but VERY pregnant. Why is it that when celebrities get pregnant, its not just a normal pregnancy – their bump is 20 times the size of a regular person. Who are you kidding here?!??! I just don’t get it….
There’s nothin’ better than seeing a picture of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, than seeing a picture of them looking like this. Amazing. No, glorious. It just goes to show, you don’t need to be smart or tactful and classy to have money. Then again, we all knew this.
What’s cuter than a video ipod? A video ipod in a hoodie, of course. And you know that this world is coming to an end when are gadgets have cuter clothes than we do. Absolutely adorable. And they come in many different prints!

At this point we all know that I’m an Urban Outfitters whore. I went to 4 UO stores today to find this dress that I’d been longing after for about a month. I needed a size small. Of course, I called about 5 stores and NO ONE had it, but I did find it in a medium. Being the irrational shopper that I am, I bought it anyway because I wanted it so bad. I have a habit of doing that. I get home, go online to look at more Urban Outfitters clothing and see the dress ON SALE! I whipped out my credit card faster than a fat kid in a donut store and bought it. Needless to say I got it for about 18 bucks cheaper and a size small. That was definitely the icing on my cake for this weekend. Thanks UrbanOutfitters.com.
….in my opinion. She’s from LA (my hometown), signed to Epic Records (the label I used to intern at) and writes about quitting her job and moving to NY (which I did). She’s fabulous.. I’ve seen Sara Bareilles 2 times since I’ve been in NY and I would see here again in a heartbeat. I’m not even going to try and explain the sound of her music because I wouldn’t do it justice. I urge you to buy the album, listen to it a couple times and if you don’t like it, I’ll buy you a beer.
