I found these bracelets on Etsy.com. The first one is called “Destination London Bridge” and it’s made with an actual London map! The second one is called “Spine Tingle.” and it’s made from a page of and actual vintage Gray’s Anatomy book. The great thing about these is that they are both handmade by Tilly. Underneath the bracelet is a layer of colored felt to give it a bit of vibrance. So when you’re wearing these, you can be sure that it’s one of a kind!
So if you are a lover of old school music formats and just can’t get enough of the vinyl record disk, now here is something that let’s you put your records to a good use. Here’s an idea, throw a disco party and fill the bowls with snacks! But beware, the bowls aren’t dishwasher safe.
And if you are feeling creative, here’s how to make them:

What you will need: An old record, a oven safe bowl (no plastic!!, and a baking sheet.
1. Preheat oven to 200F. Place the bowl on the baking sheet and then put the record on top. Throw it in the oven.
2. Leave it in the oven for only about 5 min and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt melt too much!!!
3. Pull it out of the oven and start to mold the bowl with your hands. If its easier, place the record inside the bowl for a quick mold. Make sure you do this VERY quickly as the vinyl will cool down quickly.
4. Let the bowl sit and fully harden for about 10 min, then you are ready to throw your party!

I love belts and I definitely love my Ipod, but I’m not sure that’s something that I’d want to mix. I admit, its a clever idea, but do people really want to show off the videos that they are watching? Maybe you’ll just look like a huge nerd for sporting such a nerdy belt!!!! Any thoughts?
I spent much of the last month scouring the streets of New York to find the perfect pair of boots, and weekend upon weekend I was left with the constant disappointment in finding nothing. Either that, or the boots were way too pricey.
Here are a few requirements that I wanted in my “perfect boot.”
1. The heel shouldn’t be too tall considering I will be walking around the city and want to be comfortable.
2. The toe shouldn’t be too pointy because pointy heels WILL go out of style, but then again it must not have a flat toe.
3. It needs to be tall enough to be able to wear them over jeans and consequently not too tight so that jeans can actually fit in them
Here are some solutions!:
1. I found my “perfect boot” at Urban Outfitters in their vintage collection. This mean that the shoe is not new (yes, it’s been worn), but maybe that’s better because you no longer have to wear them in! It also means that the shoe is one of a kind! Woohoo.. and they are also under $100.
2. Posh Girl Vintage is a site that offers fantastic vintage shoes and others cool things.

I lieu of the amazing weather this past weekend ( yup it was in the 70’s and 80’s here in New York City), I’ve decided to post some weather appropriate dresses…… And relatively cheap too!

There is really no other color that say’s “girly” as much as PINK. Hence why they came out with the Pink Razr, Pink Ipod Mini and pink cameras. I love my hot pink razr and my pink camera case, as well as my pink briefcase and pink wallet. Though, still.. i was missing something. That is until I got this at work. I love my pink laptop case that covers my new MacBook Pro. Now, work can resume as usual…..
Recently, I’ve been noticing a ton of patwork and plaid blouses and dresses on the racks. Plaid and patchwork prints is something that I really enjoy wearing because it not only is colorful and crazy, but it really can bring enough color to an outfit so you don’t need any other accessories. It’s also something that’s really fun. And I love fun clothes… especially when summer is right around the corner.
Another great thing about plaid and patchwork is that it hides the minor flaws and accidental spills on your shirt! Gotta love it!

It looks like a bag on this model…. imagine what it looks like on regular people. That’s why, folks, my #1 rule is always always try on things first!!!!
So, as you probably already can tell, colors are the new thing for the season. And not just any colors — bright, bold colors! But what do you think about colored jeans? I think it looks hideous! The only “colored” jeans that I’d wear are blue, black and grey… I’m not sure I understand the phenomena of fake 80’s colored jeans…
This Watchtower Dress is the look of the day because of its bright bold prints, which is a definite up and coming trend for Spring/Summer.
These Good Hope Peep Toe Shoes are the perfect fit for the dress because they have a flare of their own but they aren’t too over the top to take away all the attention from the already bold dress.
It’s interesting to see the “M” line at H&M. This weekend I went shopping and to my dismay, her line of clothing is much more expensive that the normal H&M styles. However, I guess that is to be expected. I picked up a cardigan for $70 bucks when normal H&M cardigans are around $30 bucks. I guess you pay for the name, huh?
So I went shopping at Urban Outfitters again this weekend and just to let everyone know, there’s a 50% off sale for all the already marked down sale items. I bought a pair of earrings that were originally $18.99 for $4.99 and a pair of $60 jeans for $10!!!! It was amazing and they have some awesome deals, so if you need new clothes, there isn’t a better time than now!!!
Here’s one trend that I can’t seem to embrace. Big bug eyed glasses. I’m not sure the point.. do they block more sun than just regular sunglasses? Is the purpose to hide most of your face? Well I think I’ve made my point above with the picture of Nicole Richie. She looks ridiculous and it looks like she’s either dressing up as a bug for or just wants to draw attention to her ugly glasses. Designer or not, this is a stupid trend. Agree? or not?
I was obviously really stoked to get my Free People catalog in the mail today. I found this dress and I thought, I must let other people know about it! Look how cute it is!!! It comes in other colors too and its most definitely has multiple uses.
Notice something wrong with this picture?? If you are thinking, “what is wrong with her legs?!?!?,” then you are correct!!! I spotted this lady wearing skin colored tights today at lunch. Tights aren’t bad, if they are skin color, they aren’t even that bad, but if they are skin colored AND have a pattern, that’s just really bad. It looks like she has a skin disease or something. And believe me, I was not the only person in line looking at her legs, thinking… what the heck was she thinking this morning.
So ladies, when you are getting dressed in the morning, no matter how tired you are, do not think about putting on the skin colored patterned tights. Unless, of course, its Halloween.
